Your rights around voice and audio processing

If you attach a short reference clip to a Field Note, Forivo requests microphone access and processes that clip only to capture, save, and play back the note you chose to create. The legal basis is your consent because the clip flow is optional and user-initiated.

Voice clips are retained while the related Field Note stays in your account. If you delete the note or delete your account, the related clip is removed within 30 days unless a longer hold is required to investigate abuse or an active legal request.

Your rights around the information we collect

We collect account and profile details you choose to provide, including username, avatar, and bio fields. We collect the images, videos, captions, comments, likes, and moderation actions tied to the Field Notes and creator feed you use. We also collect beauty history entries, saved preview outputs, and optional reference clips when you choose those flows.

We collect limited diagnostics and usage signals, including crash information and interaction events, so the app can remain stable and recommendation surfaces can stay relevant when tracking permission is granted.

Your rights around how we use your information

We use account and profile data to create, maintain, and secure your account under our contract with you. We use uploaded media and saved beauty records to deliver Beauty Filter Studio, Shade Preview, and related archive features under the same contract.

We use posts, comments, likes, reports, and block records to operate the creator feed and keep moderation controls effective under our legitimate interests in safety and service integrity. We use optional tracking and analytics signals, where permitted, to improve recommendations and measure product quality under consent or legitimate interest depending on local law.

Your rights around camera and photo library access

Camera access lets you capture reference photos for profile updates, editing flows, and Field Notes. Photo library access lets you choose existing images or videos for beauty retouching, virtual preview, saved looks, and post publishing. The legal basis is your consent because these permissions are requested only when you trigger those flows.

Your rights around AI and image processing features

Beauty Filter Studio and Shade Preview process the media you select to create retouched or previewed outputs. The legal basis is your consent because face-photo processing starts only after you choose the feature, select a photo, and agree to the face data disclosure shown in the app.

For these features, we collect and transmit the photo you select, including any visible facial features and the lip or face area needed for the requested effect, together with the shade, retouch, or edit settings you choose. We use that data only to generate the preview or retouch result you request. We do not use that data for face recognition, identity verification, or user profiling.

Forivo sends this face data to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, our AI image-processing provider for these features. Forivo does not cache or store the source face photo or generated photo for these AI features in the app or on Forivo servers. Provider task data and returned image links may remain available for up to 24 hours. If you choose to save an image outside the AI feature flow, that save action is initiated by you and stored only in the destination you choose.

Shade Preview and Finish Pass each display a separate face data consent notice before the feature opens for first use. Consent is stored separately for each feature on your device.

Your rights around user content and community activity

When you publish a Field Note or interact with another profile, the post text, media, comments, likes, follows, reports, and block actions you create become part of the community service. The legal basis is contract fulfillment for display and delivery of your content, and legitimate interest for moderation, abuse prevention, and block enforcement.

Published posts remain available until you delete them or your account is removed. Draft note media stays until you clear it. Moderation records, reports, and block history may be retained for up to 24 months to investigate repeated misconduct, appeals, or safety incidents.

Your rights around analytics and tracking

If you allow tracking, Forivo uses limited recommendation and performance signals to understand which notes, looks, or creator surfaces are most relevant. The legal basis is your consent where tracking permission is required, and legitimate interest for strictly necessary diagnostics.

Crash logs are retained for 90 days. Recommendation analytics associated with tracking permission are retained for up to 12 months unless a shorter period is required by law or a deletion request is completed earlier.

Your rights around data retention

Account and profile data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion so restoration requests and dispute handling can be completed. Saved beauty history, archived looks, and preview records remain until you remove them. Draft and published Field Notes remain until you delete them or remove the account that owns them.

Voice clips follow the retention rule for the note they belong to. Crash logs are retained for 90 days. Moderation records may be retained for 24 months. We do not identify a current in-app purchase feature in this build, so payment retention periods do not apply unless the build changes later.

Your rights around third-party services

We rely on third-party service categories for cloud storage or media delivery, image processing infrastructure, analytics and diagnostics, authentication support, and app distribution.

For AI image processing used by Beauty Filter Studio and Shade Preview, the selected face photo and requested edit settings are sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope to generate the result you request. We require service providers to handle personal data only for the contracted service and with protections that are at least comparable to those described in this policy.

Your rights around access, correction, export, and deletion

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account, profile, post, and beauty history data by emailing support@forivo.com with the subject line Forivo Privacy Request. We respond within 30 days. If your request concerns a specific post, report, or blocked account, include the profile name or approximate post date so we can identify the correct record.

Your rights around children's privacy

Forivo is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the app, email support@forivo.com with the subject line Forivo Child Privacy Concern. We will investigate and remove data where appropriate.

Your rights around policy changes

We may update this policy when features, legal requirements, or support practices change. Material updates will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel before the revised policy takes effect.
